Leftover Thanksgiving Pizza

Here's a recipe I came up with to use up Thanksgiving leftovers:
6- 8 cups of Stuffing
2 cups of Turkey cut into chunks
2-3 cups of whole kernel corn
1-2 cups of gravy
1 cup of mozzarella cheese

Press stuffing onto a pizza pan or bottom of 2 pie pans to create the pizza crust. Stuffing should be slightly moist like a dough so it'll stick together.
Bake for 5 minutes in an oven heated to 350.
Top with gravy as your sauce. Top this with turkey, sprinkle the corn over the turkey, and top with the cheese.
Bake in the oven at 350 for another 10-15 minutes until heated through and the cheese is melted.

I plan to make this for dinner tomorrow and I'll try to add a picture when I do.

Enjoying the Super Water Slide from HearthSong

  A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of winning from the blog, Thanks, Mail Carrier . I won the Super Water Slide. The sponsor is HearthSong . They were quick to ship the prize and kept the blogger updated on when they sent it. Xenia, sent me the tracking information which I thought was great.

  When the slide arrived, I quickly took it outside to set it up. I was immediately impressed with the quality. I had bought a cheap Slip-N-Slide a few weeks before. It burst where the hose screws in within an hour of use. The Super Water Slide does not have this problem. The plastic was thick and set up was easy. The kids have enjoyed playing with it. They say it's a lot better than the slide they had before. The grooves keeps the slide wetter and seems to make them slide faster. The little pool at the end was their favorite. Taking it down was simple, too. This slide was a huge hit and is sure to last for several summers.

Go Away, Earl

I have found myself humming "Goodbye, Earl" by the Dixie Chicks today. We are stocked up on supplies and have put away the stuff in the yard. Hubby can't get the generator to work :( He's going to work on it some more this evening. I'm praying Earl stays out to sea. I wouldn't mind a little rain but Earl can keep his wind. Stay safe East Coasters!

Tonight Titus and I were home by ourselves. I was in the bedroom while he was in the livingroom. I heard the tv cabinet open. This cabinet has the dvd player, the Wii, and other things he doesn't need to mess with. I told him to shut the cabinet. After a pause, he said it a high pitch voice, "This isn't Titus. This is Lydia." He tried to pretend it was his sister. lol. He's such a character.

New Blog

I've decided to take the plunge and start a blog. I really have no idea how to do this so bare with me. I welcome any tips or tricks you've learned about blogging. I also love getting new recipes to try :)
